Time Gems are added randomly after creating matches. When time is up, the next round starts with the time that is in the Time Extension tank. In each round, the collected Time Gems (+5, +10 or +15) add seconds to the Time Extension tank.
In the beginning of the game, the timer is set to 60 seconds. If you make multiple matches in a row fast enough, you will get a speed bonus. The Timer bar at the top of the game board shows how much time you have left. In the Speed game mode (also known as Lightning) you only have a limited amount of time to score points. The game ends when there are no moves available anymore.
Every time you progress a level, the Level Bar will require more points to be filled. There is no time limit or other requirement to advance a level, so you can take all the time you need to study the board before making a move.Ĭomplete the progress bar below the game board (called Level Bar) to progress to the next level. In the Classic game mode you advance to the next level by collecting points. Bejeweled has two game modes: classic and timed.
